DBS Checking
Every worker undergoes an enhanced DBS check plus a rigorous background check before their first assignment.
We specialise in providing experienced, qualified and vetted agency care workers who help children's residential homes deliver the highest level of care — filling rotas is the easy part; doing it with the right people is what we're known for.
Anyone who has managed a children's home knows just how difficult it can be to find people who will provide the level of support your young people need. That's the problem Spire Assist was built to solve.
Over the years we have built a network of dedicated care professionals who are committed to providing compassionate care in the community. Their experience varies greatly, and they each bring an array of strengths and skill sets — but every one of them holds relevant experience of working with children and young people, and a Diploma Level 3 in Children's Health and Social Care, NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
If you are a local authority or a private home, contact us so we can gain a proper understanding of your needs and your service users — then match you with staff who fit, not just staff who are free.
When a Spire Assist worker joins your team, this is the standard of work you can expect — grouped here so you can see exactly what's covered.
Before anyone wears a Spire Assist badge, they've been through our vetting and training pipeline.

Tell us about your service users and your rota — we'll take it from there. Urgent and out-of-hours requests welcome.
